I notice in both photos he's got a long sleeve top on - so much for summer......

Plastic Fantastic

It would seam Alexander has a passion for plastic.

He loves nothing more than riding round on his bike with a plastic bucket on his head, and now he has moved onto watching TV sitting in one of his plastic toy boxes.

I know this post is well over a week late.....

My 6 year old nephew Dylan who lives in Australia sent me a lovely little card he'd made me for Valentine's Day....

David came home with flowers :-)
I gave him a card ...he found it the night before though - that will teach him for poking round...lol

and it's no better tonight....just look at him :-)

Sleepy Time

Alexander always goes off for his afternoon nap without much fuss at all, and always flat out on his back, or more recently favoring his side cuddled up to his blanky.

BUT – today however……. I’ve no idea what happened!!!!!

I nearly woke him up laughing, and had to rush off and get the camera to show you.

I didn't have the heart to move him to a more comfortable position. He's lying on top of his ugly doll with about 4 of his blankies.

I found some old photos last night and had to have a chuckle at this one.

Sarah and Adam - taken when Sarah and David came to visit in 1998, only a matter of a month or so before I met Dave :-)

Sarah was 4 at the time.....my how Adam has changed :-)

I was thinking the other day while going through Alexander’s clothes how much he’s grown. Grown like all kids do, but to quickly for me.

I found his first pair of leather shoes in the draw, and the booties that Sarah brought for him while I was still pregnant. There are a few things ill keep for ever, like the shoes, booties, his first dummy, the outfit he wore home from hospital etc

But what to do about everything else, like his cute winter jumpers and his first jacket…..I'll do what I do best….and....take a photo of them!!!!!

Dave celebrates the big 50th birthday today and Sarah starts her first day at High School.

Hope your first day goes well Sarah - gosh it feels like just yesterday you started your first day at primary school.

Fun in the Sun

Wow we have had several nice days in a row now....long may it last.

We took Alexander and Sarah to the beach for a paddle yesterday. Silly mummy didn't even think to take a bucket and spade, so poor Alexander spent most of the time trying to pick up other kids toys. In the end he settled for a stick and some seaweed.
