Merry Christmas......Oh Merry Christmas......I know not fair to our family in the UK.... :-)

It's been all about the sun, water, BB'Qs, IPods, Nurf Guns.....and sleeps at the pub.....Alexander not me or Dave. He was sooo tired yesterday he fell asleep on the couch at the pub....totally unheard of..... :-) still we had a nice two hours....

Will update more soon.....to nice to be inside, i could blog from my phone but to hard to see outside in the sun, not to mention 2 glasses of wine already.....love to all our family and friends, especially family a long way aways....we miss you so much more at time's like this..... love to you all :-)

It's that time of the year again, wasn't it only just a few months ago we did Christmas!

School year winding down now, kids are tied, Alexander slept in till 8am this morning, so was a rush getting ready for School. He has swimming tonight, so will be another rushed evening - home from school, tea, out for swimming, back for bed.....phewwwww!

More snow photos, Alexander and I sat at the window and watched the snow falling for some time on Monday, it was magical, although not something id want to have to contend with weeks on end! But very enjoyable for the 3 days we had it.

Two weeks before our spring starts...we get snow.....snow in the suburbs is very rear indeed, let alone snow at sea level....just amazing.

Wahhhhhhh I'm off to the dentist on my Birthday of all days! The only way you ever get me into that place is with overwhelming pain, and that is what I have had for the last 3 days..... :-( I can take no more.....

Been stuck indoors for the last few days, the weather is awful and cold, only a few days left of the school holidays, back to school next week.

Custom Lamp
I've seen these cool children's lamps on a home decorating site that i just fell in love with and I know a little guy who'd love one. Plus a Mummy that would love to make one... :-)
I have the odd lamp base hanging round the house, and a load of little toys, that have been loved over time by Alexander that could reinvent themselves as a toy lamp base pretty well.

actually he has done really well, and we are coming out the other side now, not sure if he will make it back to school before the holidays start at the end of the week.

Chicken Pox is rife at school, 5 kids alone in Alexander's class have them this week, and his best friend is just back at school after a week off. So we might be in for a round too. Ohh joy!

Funny how you know when your kid is unwell.....he spends all morning/afternoon nuggled up on the couch with the dog and his blankie, I've been allowed up to get drinks, shower and use the loo, otherwise its cuddle time watching a favourite dvd.

He would be bouncing off the walls by now if he wasn't feeling under the weather, so we are off to the Dr's this afternoon.

I've finally worked out how to get the photos of my phone - so here are some old ones from last year.....
Playing on the play station - from a week or so ago, the play station spends most of its time in the cupboard as it gets taken off him for punishment, its not due to come back out for another 4 days.



Don't jump on the couch! Or you will fall and hit your head and give Mum a fright! from last year also.

The last few days have been utterly devastating for the people of Christchurch, and all of New Zealand.

The death toll is climbing everyday, although I do not know anyone personally who has been affected, its still totally heart wrenching to watch and listen to what has been happening.

Our thought are prayers go out to each and everyone who has been affected by this tragedy.

LATEST: A number of people are dead and scores trapped after a large quake struck Christchurch this afternoon.

Police said two buses had been crushed by falling debris, while witnesses said screams could be heard coming from the Pyne Gould Business building where up to 150 people were feared trapped.

Alexander has been busy at school, doing soccer, and tennis, and starts his HipHop Dance class this week, sadly I can't take him to his first class, (work calls) I'm sure he will have a good time with his Nan. I can't wait to see him boggy his little butt off next week!

Things are busy here, and hot, not hot by Australia standards I know......but hot for us! Still getting close to the end of Feb and it cant last forever, and then we will be complaining of the cold.
